Program Management Services for the District’s Automated Metering Infrastructure

Public Utility District No. 1 of Lewis County (DISTRICT) requests Statements of Qualification (SOQ) from capable firms to assist the DISTRICT’s Automated Metering Infrastructure Program.

The District seeks a consultant with expert knowledge of public utility electric, communications and network fiber systems, and utility operations and customer services associated with AMI software applications. The desired expert must possess a thorough understanding of future trends in utility AMI. This understanding includes, but is not limited to, knowledge of customer management, manual meter reading, Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) utility billing, Meter Data Management (MDM) systems, Distribution Automation (field device SCADA over AMI network), SCADA, Outage Management Systems (OMS), mesh and point to point base networks, hybrid mesh and point to point systems, fiber optic systems and networks, and Smart Meter features applicable to electric utilities. Additionally, expertise in best practices for leveraging AMI benefits related to customer services and financial return on investment is desired.
