REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL
DISPATCH CENTER LOGGING SOFTWARE
PEND OREILLE PUBLIC UTILITY DISTRICT

Public Utility District No. 1 of Pend Oreille County (the District), is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a vendor to provide and implement a Dispatch Center Logging Software.

Purpose & Scope
The District is seeking a new software package to replace its current Dispatching logbook program. The current logbook program is an in-house developed application that can no longer be fully supported. The logbook also allows the application to be shared between the District’s System Dispatch Center and Hydro Operations Control Center.

The new software application is expected to perform much of the same features as the current system. The application shall be expandable to incorporate hydro operations, system lock-out-tag-out, and outage management via interface with the District’s NISC iVue, Pi and Survalent software systems.

Specific features and requirements of the Dispatch Center Logging Software include, but are not limited to what is outlined in the attached specifications document.
