The Truckee Donner Public Utility District (Truckee Donner PUD) is looking to fill the position of Electric Operations Manager.

Under general supervision from Electric Utility Director, directs, plans and supervises the work of the distribution operations within the Electric Department including installing, constructing, maintaining, repairing, operating & replacing the District’s electric system facilities.   Resolves technical problems and leads in enacting District policies.  Manages the operation and staff of the electric department.

Minimum Qualifications:

Below are a list of requirements that represents the knowledge, skill or ability required for this position.  A combination of experience and education will be considered.

Bachelor’s degree in Electric Engineering, Electronics, Computer Science or related field
10 years supervisory leadership experience in electric system operation, maintenance, repair and replacement
Knowledge of principles and practices of electric system operation and maintenance and construction standards and practices.
Knowledge of General Orders 128, 165, & 95.
Strong critical thinking and problem solving abilities
Strong written & verbal communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word & Outlook
Valid driver’s license
