Supervisor V, Distribution
Salem Line Center
Provide direct supervision of Service Design Project Managers (SDPM’s), Designers, and Design Technicians. Create an environment of open communication to build a strong local Service & Design team. Use creative problem solving to generate new solutions, share procedures and information with other design teams and Distribution.
ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
This position will be based in the Salem Line Center. To ensure the candidate has a successful transition and to support business needs, you will spend the initial 6-12 months in the Portland area. After the 6 to 12 months, then you will fully transition to your location in Salem.
Supervise and lead SDPM’s and the local Design group to meet internal and external customer needs for distribution design and project management. Understand customer design needs to better deliver high quality design services. Implement and measure effects of current programs and new work processes on Team goals. Work closely with local management, including area line managers, general foremen, storeroom, survey and other workgroups. Create a Service & Design Team that demonstrates excellence in all its work.
