High School Diploma or equivalent; some college courses in Business related studies are preferred.
Eight years of professional experience, with two years of project management or supervisory experience.
Knowledge of all aspects of line department operations, design, PGE (or other Utility) transmission and distribution systems, rules and regulations, and applicable codes relating to electrical service delivery. (NEC, NESC)
Thorough knowledge of PGE tariff, rules, policies, and practices. (standards, current accounting system, current Franchise Agreements, Electric Service Requirements Book ,etc)
Demonstrated abilities in problem solving, project planning, and evaluation techniques.
Strong leadership and supervisory skills, including creative problem solving and technical analysis.
Working knowledge of PGE’s or Utility related organization, finance, budget, human resources, and administrative procedures.
Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral and written).
