SPEC III Materials PM R18-081

This position will work with Outdoor Lighting Services (OLS),Line Operations, Rates and Regulatory, Specialized Billing, Storerooms and Supply Chain to improve Outdoor Lighting Services processes, minimize OLS lighting catalog and maintain it.  The position will support conversion and lighting upgrade projects.

You will support our journey by:

80% Review OLS lighting catalog in collaboration with PGE Standards and Supply Chain, work to minimize offerings, continue to keep the catalog current while researching and adding new items as technology advances.  Coordinate with Storeroom and Supply Chain developing a practice and procedure to order and store appropriate levels of lighting materials to support PGE and Municipalities so new construction and maintenance can be done in a timely manner. Meet with Lighting manufacturers, and their Vendors to review, suggest and add new products to the OLS catalog. Coordinate with PGE communications to keep the website current for OLS.  Work with, and validate all photometric files are up to date and accurate. Create long term strategic plan for materials ordering, tracking, and storing of lighting poles and fixtures.

10%. Provide support for Lighting facilities upgrades and conversions

10% Provide management and other internal/external groups with project and materials status and contribute towards creative and innovative problem solving.  Assist in, recommendations and leadership on routine problems involving project controls.

Experience Required:


  • High school diploma or equivalent combination.
  • Ability to work beyond normal working hours for storm coverage
  • Valid driver’s license and proven safe driving record KNOWLEDGE/
  • Working knowledge of Word, PowerPoint, Excel and SharePoint software.
  • Working knowledge of work management systems such as Maximo and GWD/GIS
