The Eugene Water & Electric Board is currently seeking an experienced Senior IT Project Manager to plan, execute, and finalize complex information technology projects according to strict deadlines and within budget. This position will acquire resources and coordinate the efforts of team members, third party contractors and consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan. The Senior IT Project Manager will define projects objectives and oversee quality control throughout the life cycle.

Experience Required:

Minimum Experience: Six years of professional project management or IT management experience. Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning Software (ERP) or other large scale system implementation is required. Specific experience implementing utility CIS systems is preferred.

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Engineering, Project Management, Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Business Administration, Management, Public Administration, or a closely related field.

Desirable training and certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP).

Equivalency: An equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the required knowledge, skills, and abilities may be qualifying.
