Duties:

Working with subject matter experts, the incumbent will develop and implement sound tactical programs, procedures and operational processes to enhance electric system reliability and facilitate compliance with regulatory requirements related to system reliability and/or electric system cyber security.  Develop and implement preventative, detective and compensating compliance controls and best practices across the District to monitor and facilitate compliance.

The positions may be filled at level I, II or III based on knowledge, skills and abilities. Level II incumbents work on complex issues and standards, and leads teams, projects and mentors and/or trains lower level analysts.  Level III incumbents are considered a technical expert on operations and Panning Standards (693) or Critical Infrastructure Protection  Standards (706) and works on the most complex issues and standards.

Experience Required:

Bachelor’s degree (B. S., B. A.) in a science, technology, engineering, or math (STEM) field, public administration, business, or a related field from a college or university; or equivalent combination of education and NERC/WECC experience.  Requires professional experience in a legal or regulatory compliance occupation, with demonstrated NERC/WECC Reliability Compliance experience.  Candidates with a Juris Doctorate, master’s degree or relevant certifications may substitute 2 years of the experience requirement.  One or more of the following licenses and certifications are desired: CISSP, CISA, CSSA, CPP, PSP, PE, NERC System Operator Certification and/or Project Management Professional.
