Lead a multi-disciplined matrix team in managing large, complex generation, substation, transmission, and distribution projects in a safe, cost-effective, and responsible manner. The project manager is responsible for all aspects of a project including its development, permitting, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout. Ensure projects deliver quality and value to the customer while meeting environmental, cultural, and community requirements. The project manager is responsible and accountable for meeting a project’s goals for safety, budget, schedule, scope, resources, compliance, and quality.
- Position requires a bachelor's degree in engineering, business, or related field.
- Position requires 10 or more years of utility or related experience with 7 years of experience in the project management, construction management, engineering, design, operation, or maintenance of electrical facilities.Proficient oral and written communication skills, including negotiation skills and ability to skillfully conduct presentations and project meetings.
- PMP Certification preferred.
- Comprehensive understanding and application of construction, engineering and project management principles, processes, and procedures.
- Demonstrated expertise in utility construction management preferred.
