Principal Metering Systems Development Analyst #45072
Puget Sound Energy’s Metering Systems and Data Analytics team enables the use of metering data for a variety of applications such as billing, outage detection & recovery, fraud detection, finance, energy efficiency, customer care and a variety of other analytics.
This department is central to PSE’s business and provides service to a broad group of customers throughout the enterprise. We are looking for a multi-talented individual who is equally comfortable with software technology, data analysis, defining business requirements and working directly with internal customers and will help us develop the next generation of metering technology and applications and help coach and mentor our development team. One of the key tasks for this individual will be to take a lead role in developing the multiple phases of Advanced Metering Infrastructure implementation in the next few years.
The successful candidate will have built and maintained applications with SQL Server, Oracle, Unix and will have knowledge of C#, .Net framework, scripting, batch file processes, SFTP and web services. Experience with analytics, billing & metering processes, metering systems and the utility industry is a plus but not required.
At the discretion of the hiring team, this position may also be filled at the senior, intermediate or associate level depending on the qualifications of the selected candidate.
