Our Rates, Planning, and Analysis (RPA) team is developing an organization-wide Project Management Office (PMO) program from the ground up. We will be crafting resources, tools, processes, and learning opportunities to help project managers and project teams mature the project management discipline across all of Tacoma Power.

Tacoma Power’s Rates, Planning, and Analysis (RPA) team is led by Bill Berry (Section Manager). RPA focuses on serving the operational sections of Tacoma Power with development and implementation of metrics, best practices, and decision making tools.
As part of RPA’s Construction PMO team, you will work with PMO manager Ryan McLaughlin to develop a successful PMO program from the ground up.

You will interact with staff from all levels of our organization, from executive leaders to our project team members. You will play a vital role in the development of systems, processes, and tools that will ultimately help support our project manager and project teams across all of Tacoma Power.
As the PMO Analyst you will develop and implement Tacoma Power’s PMO policy and strategy and will support Tacoma Power’s leadership in capital budgeting and decision making. As a champion of continuous improvement for Tacoma Power, you will also support development of reporting capabilities and operational insights throughout the organization to improve efficiencies, reduce costs, and eliminate pain points. You will work cross-functionally to develop a PMO strategy, define and align organization performance metrics to strategic plans, and drive technical/process changes to sustain them.
You must be adept at influencing regardless of level of authority, liaising between the business and technology, and translating disparate data into metrics that support organizational objectives. This includes defining and documenting data sources, identifying supporting technologies, business processes development, requirements gathering and change management.
