This position provides administrative support to the operations department to further the objectives of the cooperative in delivering exceptional member service. Areas of responsibility include dispatch, crew scheduling and clerical duties for both design and construction. This position supports the operations assistant lead, superintendent, general foreman and staking engineers with the more complicated facets of the department and requires decision making and problem solving. Works with other departments within the organization and outside agencies.
Candidates must have a strong work ethic and positive attitude. High school diploma or its equivalent is required. Minimum of three years of electric utility experience; preferred in operations or member services position. Knowledge of rural electrification and cooperative programs preferred. Associate or B.A./B.S. degree preferred.
