Meter Services and Field Operations Supervisor

This is an exciting time to join an energy leader! We are looking for a Supervisor to lead a team of highly technical Meter Services and Field Operations employees.

The ideal candidate should have experience supervising bargaining employees, coaching employees, monitoring progress, overseeing the safe and effective/efficient day-to-day operations and ensuring quality compliance. You must possess strong communication and leaderships skills as well as the ability to resolve workplace issues effectively. The Supervisor will be excited about guiding, training and supporting their team members and is highly motivated to help our company fulfill its larger mission. The successful candidate will be people-centered, supportive and flexible in order to get the most of his/her team. You should also be a natural leader that’s focused on inspiring employees to own their work and deliver better results.

Experience Required:

Your skills and background would include a college degree (electrical engineering strongly preferred) plus 8 years of progressive experience supervising in a technical or mechanical field OR equivalent combination of education and experience, i.e. Journeyman Card.

Safety is our top priority, so the requirements that are “must haves” and not negotiable are: a safe driving record with your valid driver’s license, knowledge of OSHA safety rules, knowledge of Personal Protective Equipment, National Electric Safety Code (NESC), National Electric Code (NEC), working knowledge of tailboard process and risk mitigation, and accountability around safety practices for yourself and others.

Leading this highly technical crew, you will also have comprehensive knowledge of meters and electricity, tools and equipment used in meter operations, and preferably experience leading Journeyman.
