Manager 1, Business Systems Administration

Transmission & Distribution

POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for managing a business systems administration team, managing the planning, operation, and end user support of operations (Transmission & Distribution, Substation, and Generation) systems such as Maximo Work and Asset Management, Mobile and Scheduling and Outage Management.  This position works within a team of T&D, Substation, and Generation business professionals and serves as the business Asset Owner of these operational systems.  This position will also be responsible for delivering business value through relationship management, process improvement, and prioritization of business systems defects and enhancements, leveraging software systems to deliver business value. 

 

Experience Required:

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business management or related field with a minimum of 10 years of applicable experience.
  • Power System Utility experience preferred
  • Working knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma or Business Process Improvement methodology
  • Working knowledge of corporate financial accounting principles.
  • Demonstrated ability to proficiently communicate complex or controversial subject matter to users, management, or IT.
  • Familiarity with software tools used by the lines of business such as Maximo Work, Asset Management, Mobile and Scheduling and Outage Management.
  • Familiarity with application system development processes
  • Familiar with interfaces and affected systems.
