The Manager of Finance and Administration plans, organizes, and supervises major accounting, treasury, and financial functions of the PUD. The position has responsibility for all assigned administrative, financial, accounting, and front-office matters, and development or monitoring of the following: financial statements, audits, budgets, complex financial analysis, and official statements for debt issues, financial policies, and financial plans. Additional position functions include the board appointed auditor, clerk to the board, public records officer, and oversees information technology and the energy conservation program.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration or related field is required and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred. Must have at least five years of management experience and five years of experience in all facets of utility accounting, auditing, and staff supervision. Must have business practice familiarity with the Revised Code of Washington (RCW) and the Washington Administrative Code (WAC). A combination of education and experience may qualify.
