Placer County Water Agency encompasses the entire, 1,500-square-mile boundary of Placer County, ranging from the rim of the Sacramento Valley on the west to the Sierra Nevada and Lake Tahoe on the east. The Agency is headquartered in Auburn and carries out a broad range of responsibilities including water resource planning and management, retail and wholesale supply of irrigation water and drinking water, production of hydroelectric power and watershed stewardship across Placer County.  We are seeking talented candidates to join our team for the position of:


$92,389 – $117,915 annually, DOQ, plus excellent benefits

PCWA is seeking an engaged individual to lead its hydroelectric electrical maintenance team, performing preventative and corrective maintenance and installing and repairing hydroelectric generators, electrical systems, electrical communications and control equipment, to maintain and repair electronic communications and control equipment, and SCADA systems associated with the Agency’s multi-purpose hydroelectric facilities.

Experience Required:

This position will be based out of the Agency’s Power System offices in Foresthill, CA.  Our ideal candidate will possess progressively responsible experience in the installation, maintenance, repair and modification of electrical equipment at hydroelectric facilities; supervisory experience in this area is highly desirable.
