The Eugene Water & Electric Board (EWEB) is currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Energy & Water Management program supervisor to take EWEB’s smart growth and demand response programs to the next level by providing program development and staff leadership to our team of Customer Solutions/Energy Management Specialists.

This position will coordinate the activities of employees engaged in customer facing activities including but not limited to residential and commercial building audits, limited income assistance, loan program administration, and all activities related to the delivery of new products and services that may evolve over time. In partnership with Business Line Managers and Customer Relationship Managers, the Energy and Water Management Programs Supervisor will ensure effective delivery of the organization’s product and service offerings to customers.

The position will help define and assist in developing energy and water management outreach approaches to utility customers, retail and behavioral response programs, research on customer energy efficiency preferences and needs, and regional market transformation efforts. If you are an experienced leader with a passion for smart growth and demand response programs for energy and water resources, this may be the opportunity for you.

Experience Required:
Requirements As A Qualification & Progression

Minimum Experience: Eight years of directly related experience in a combination of the following functional areas: program development; program marketing; contract management; budgeting; local and regional energy issues; BPA contract administration; energy and water conservation; energy management; electric and water utility industry experience. Experience must include at least two years of supervisory / or lead experience.

Supervisory/lead experience must include selecting, evaluating, motivating, coaching, performance management, progressive discipline, planning, organizing and delegating work.

Education: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, architecture, business, marketing or a related field.

Desirable education, experience, training and certifications: Coursework in Energy Management, HVAC, Lighting Systems, Physics and Statistics. CMVP (Certified Measurement and Verification Professional), CEM (Certified Energy Manager), CEA (Certified Energy Auditor), CDSM (Certified Demand Side Manager) or CEP (Certified Energy Procurement Professional).

Equivalency:  An equivalent combination of education and experience may be qualifying.

Valid driver license: Yes or the ability to obtain one within 30 days of being hired.
