Lead consumer and business marketing, with a heavy initial focus on account management of commercial and industrial customers. At full phase-in, East Bay Community Energy will serve 600,000 electric accounts, with roughly 65% of usage from the commercial and industrial sectors and 35% from residential. As the leader of all marketing to these customers, the candidate will be responsible for defining EBCE’s initial customer outreach plan during the ramp-up to launch. One critical element of customer outreach and care will be to work with EBCE’s call center provider to develop EBCE’s customer service and care capabilities. Another key piece of this role will be to build EBCE’s account management team and lead outreach to commercial and industrial accounts.
Ideal candidate has experience working closely with medium and large electricity users to understand their energy needs, communicate energy product and solution value propositions and execute on the delivery of tailored energy solutions.Candidate should have experience forming and managing energy solution partnerships and should be comfortable spending time with customers.
