The Customer Service Manager is responsible for the management of the customer service and utility billing function of Franklin PUD, including meter reads, bill processing and mailing, payments and collections, conflict resolution and customer needs. The Customer Service Manager supervises a team of customer service and meter reading employees covered under a collective bargaining agreement.
A Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting or a related field plus a minimum of five years supervisory experience in customer service management and operations of a similar sized organization is preferred. Work experience in a utility and with a collective bargaining unit is preferred. A candidate that has 7+ years of supervisory experience in customer service management and operations and a two year degree or a reasonable equivalent of years of experience, training and relevant education may be considered.
