Responsible for leading, facilitating, and coordinating Continuous Improvement (CI) endeavors in support of operations and strategic initiatives within Energy Delivery across the Companies. Supports Energy Delivery in the development, analysis, and realization of process improvement and cost optimization opportunities.
Facilitates, guides, and supports enterprise, departmental, or cross-departmental continuous improvement work across the Companies as directed by Energy Delivery leadership. This encompasses preparation and planning for workshops/events, leading/facilitating such events, tracking/follow up of action items, support in implementing changes, and periodic audits of the work completed.
Develops, maintains and revises CI work plans as part of the annual CI Deployment Plan in collaboration with leadership and Enterprise Performance Excellence (EPE) CI Core Team. Monitors outcomes working with Finance Lead and others to capture and report benefits. Integrates work with other initiatives and adjusts as needed.
Partners with EPE CI Core Team to sustain proficiency in CI methodologies and approaches. Serves as a liaison for Energy Delivery with EPE to provide CI training, mentoring and consulting resources.
Applies knowledge of waste elimination tools and techniques to identify operational and/or procedural opportunities for improvement.
Directs resources in the pursuit and completion of CI initiatives along with the validation of associated savings.
Tracks and monitors CI implementations to determine performance to expectations, identify/remove barriers, as well as to establish further improvements/adjustments if additional opportunities exist. Participates in CI governance process, up-line reporting and maintenance of dashboards.
Participates in Company emergency response activities as assigned.
