Director of Engineering

Clearwater Power Company is seeking qualified candidates for a director of engineering. This is a full-time, exempt, staff-level position. The director of engineering is responsible for managing the engineering activities of the cooperative and supervising the engineering personnel and consultants involved in the system planning and design for the cooperative.

Applicants must be proficient in using personal computers and programs including Microsoft Office Suite, GIS and line modeling software. A minimum of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering, a current Professional Engineering License in Idaho and Washington or the ability to obtain these licenses, and 4 years of experience with a rural electric cooperative, utility, or related field is required. Completion of NWPPA’s Frontline Leadership Program is desirable but not required.
