Assistant V – Permit Coordinator

POSITION PURPOSE

Administer the pole permit process in the Utility Asset Management group (UAM) by evaluating, processing and tracking pole attachment permit applications submitted by customers that want to attach to PGE poles.

KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Requires four years of experience related to Utility Asset Management
  • Strong knowledge of computer applications including MS Outlook, Excel, Access, Word, eRecords, DMS, GIS Web Viewer, NJUNS.
  • Basic knowledge of OPUC regulations, FCC, Telecommunication Act, NESC, SOX and Joint Use Facilities Attachment Agreements
