Within the limits of the Cooperative’s established policies:

Implementation, distribution, and maintenance of required server software, hardware, and electronic resources for CCEC systems and employees as well as CCEC’s IT Services clients. Assists in managing virtual and physical environments as well as disaster recovery systems.

Participates in phone and help desk support; requiring travel to site locations. To include image, configure, install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain enterprise workstations, laptops, tablets, smart phones, VOIP phones, multifunction printers other peripheral devices for both CCEC and its IT Services clients.

Provides training and support for employees, managers and the board in the use of software and hardware required by the day-to-day operations of CCEC or any IT Services clients.

Assist with the maintenance and usability of communication/network infrastructure including wired, wireless, and fiber networks between offices and the World Wide Web for all locations.

Availability for on call emergencies and after hours / weekends for system maintenance or for any IT Services client needs.
Supports all departments with software integration, development, training, research and hardware for both CCEC and its IT Services clients.
Assists IT Director with overseeing and managing CCEC IT Services support agreements for clients who outsource their IT needs to CCEC.
Control and protect data and resources in accordance with the CCEC Information Security Plan.

Anticipates future network needs, helps IT Director identify proactive solutions to satisfy needs for both CCEC and IT Services clients.

Assists ins the management of licensing, compliance issues and law, and company policies in the daily use of electronic tools and resources by CCEC employees.

Assist with building and maintaining relationships with IT Services clients in an effort to effectively support their IT needs and potentially increase the number of IT Serives clients.

Assist in IT Budget planning, coordinating with CCEC purchasing agent in ordering all IT related supplies and equipment, and documenting IT purchases ensuring costs are within budget constraints.

Helps with securing and monitoring all service agreements on IT equipment; ensuring cost controls on maintenance programs.

Track, maintain, and secure adequate levels of IT equipment inventory for both CCEC and its IT Services clients.
Assists IT Director as IT Project Manager and helps to oversee all network, security, and information technology implementations. Helps to effectively manage multiple projects ensuring efficiency and timelines are achieved.
Continual and or retraining in software or hardware specific requirements and knowledge due to changes in offered resources.

Acts as a backup supervisor to the IT Director and is responsible for supervising all IT staff as assigned.

Serves as a functional backup for the IT Director as necessary and performs the basic tasks necessary to oversee the IT Department and related systems.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience Required:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Systems or closely related computer field and five years of experience with computer support, computer technology;
• Experience with workstations and end user application tools within a Microsoft network environment, Basic Network Administration and Windows System Administrator experience are helpful however, directly related experience may be substituted for educational requirements when competency in the role is demonstrated.
• COMPTIA A+, Network +, and or Security + certification and Microsoft MCSA certification is desireable.
• Valid Oregon driver’s license or ability to acquire
