Provides highly responsible, confidential, and complex assistance to the City Light General Manager and Public Works Director. Performs complex project management, problem solving, and makes independent decisions. Organizes, directs and provides supervisory responsibilities of professional, technical, and clerical administrative office staff and Customer Service Center staff. Formulates and implements projects, studies, procedures, policies, and management assignments. Manages a variety of City Light and Public Works administrative and customer service tasks such as utility billing, collections, accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll and budget preparation.
Five years progressive supervisory experience. Five years experience in office management and administration preferably in municipal utilities or other government position, exercising public relations, customer services, and interpersonal skills.
