The City of Ketchikan d\b\a Ketchikan Public Utilities requests sealed bids for the KETCHIKAN AND BEAVER FALLS PLANTS EXCITATION AND PROTECTION UPGRADE; Contract 08- 40, consisting of :
the design, procurement, assembly, programming, testing, shipment, and assistance in the installation and commissioning of exciter, automatic voltage regulation (AVR), and protection equipment at the Ketchikan and Beaver Falls power plants.
Bids will be received until 4:00 PM, August 01, 2008 at the office of the City Clerk. Bid documents are available on the City of Ketchikan Website or from the KPU Electric Division Manager, 1065 Fair Street, Ketchikan, Alaska 99901. There will be no charge for the bid documents. Local Bidder Preference applies per KMC 3.12.040(c)(4). Inquiries about this project should be made to the KPU Electric Division Manager at (907) 228-4720.
