Job Descrition: Snohomish County PUD is currently accepting applications for our 2008 Summer Hire Program. Positions include Summer Student Engineer.
Must be 18 years old, currently enrolled in a full time (12 credit hour minimum) undergraduate, graduate or vocational program, working toward a degree or certification, and will not have worked at the District more than two (2) previous summers, and possess a valid driver’s license.
Engineering students must be entering their sophomore, junior or senior year in Fall 2008.
Current transcripts/progress reports required at time of application. Proof of student status for upcoming quarter (current registration notice, letter of intent from Registrar’s office, or canceled check for tuition) required upon acceptance of job offer. Engineering students must provide proof that they are enrolled in Engineering related courses. Student may be tested for employment (if applicable). Competitive selections are made based on qualifications including: major, GPA, previous work experience, skills, and references.
