The Fleet Department at PSE is looking for two Fleet Schedulers to coordinate, schedule, track, and process invoices for the compliance inspections, preventative maintenance and roadside repairs of all PSE Fleet equipment. Responsibilities will include communicating with vendors to produce cost effective and timely execution of required inspections, maintenance and repairs. The ideal candidates must be detail oriented and able to effectively communicate with various PSE departments, drivers and vendors to facilitate a transparent service of company vehicles.

NOTE: This position will moving to the South King Service Center Summer 2008.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Update, monitor and ensure accurate vehicle maintenance and repair record keeping in SAP.
• Support Fleet Manager and Standards Representative to assist in establishing, implementing and maintaining fleet strategies and best practices.
• Support policies, procedures and communications that ensure fleet maintenance and repairs reflect standards that comply with DOT and ANSI guidelines.
• Manage internal/external customer relationships.
• Utilize SAP and Vendor reports to monitor and track fleet equipment activities.
• Perform other fleet department duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• HS graduate or equivalent.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft office suite.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Experience in vehicle maintenance operations.
• Current Washington State Driver’s License.
• Detail oriented.

DESIRED:

• Mechanical aptitude, knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Ability to prioritize workload to meet customer needs.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task in an extremely fast paced work environment.
• Utility fleet experience.
