Guide projects and operations related to the head-end technology used to provide internet service, participate in the internet department in supporting internet service members, and work collaboratively with others to support the overall information technology needs of HR Co-op programs, systems, and employees.

Applicants must have the following education and experience to be considered:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Oregon driver’s license.
- A minimum of ten years of progressively responsible experience in information technology/support, with a significant focus on network engineering. This includes at least three years in a program or project management role, managing large-scale network projects such as IPv6 migration, cloud networking transitions, or SD-WAN deployments.
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience with network systems, including but not limited to Cisco IOS, JunOS, Ubiquiti, network security practices, and SDN technologies. Familiarity with automation tools such as Ansible or Puppet is preferred. Familiarity with monitoring tools such as LibreNMS or PRTG is preferred.
Preference may be given to applicants who have the following:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Network Engineering, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related technical field from an accredited four-year college or university.
- Certifications: Advanced certifications such as CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, AWS Certified Advanced Networking or Google Professional Cloud Network Engineer are highly preferred.
- Technical Skills: Demonstrated experience in troubleshooting internet and IT services, installing cable/conduit/fiber optic runs, and expertise in virtualization technologies. A strong understanding of API-driven network management and security is desirable.
- Project Management: Proven project management skills, with certifications like PMP or PRINCE2 considered a plus.
- Language Skills: Fluency in English required, fluency in English and Spanish is highly desired.
- Soft Skills: Strong leadership qualities, excellent communication skills, and the ability to mentor junior staff. A demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across departments and with executive management.
