NWPPA/NCPA Federal Rally - April 26-29, 2015, Washington, D.C.
This year’s NWPPA/NCPA Federal Policy Conference and Rally held April 26th-29th, 2015!
1. Registration: As in past years, NCPA handles registration and hotel reservations. Click on the link below to register and reserve your hotel room before March 30th. Flight arrangements are yours to secure. NOTE: We are ending the rally after dinner on Wednesday night, April 29th rather than mid-day Thursday. No meetings will be scheduled for Thursday as in past years. Feel free to schedule flights home for Thursday morning, April 30th.
2. Draft agenda: As in past years, we begin the conference on Sunday, April 26th with a joint reception and dinner NCPA Monday, April 27th is a joint policy conference with NCPA where we hear from elected officials, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and congressional staff. NWPPA meets with congressional delegation Members and staff on Tuesday and Wednesday. We have a reservation for an NWPPA-only dinner at Bobby Van’s Grill on Tuesday, April 28th and end the trip after a joint reception and dinner with NCPA on Wednesday April 29th. NOTE: We have changed location for the conference. We will now hold the conference and stay at the Marriott Marquis, 901 Massachusetts Ave. NW. The Marriott Marquis is a bit closer to Capitol Hill and the Mayflower, our past hotel, is undergoing renovations this year.

3. Issue Papers/Talking Points: NWPPA will work with Morgan Meguire on issue papers and talking points to guide our message while in Washington, DC. We will distribute these to you 2 weeks prior to the trip. We will also hold a webinar with Morgan Meguire to run through the trip agenda, issue papers and talking points the week (week of April 20th) before the trip. We will schedule the webinar the first week of March.
We are excited for this year’s trip. If you participated on the Federal Legislative Outlook webinar in February this will be an exciting year in Washington, D.C. You will be a part of that year when we travel to DC in April to bring our message to Capitol Hill. I look forward to working with all you to make this trip a success.
