Overview of the NWPPA E&O!
Public power takes on the days' challenges and goes after opportunities. Whether it is new methods and practices, new technology, the change in your employees as Baby Boomers retire, new regulations at the state and federal level, and more, our industry "rocks on!"
This is an industry that gets the job done and provides safe, reliable, reasonably priced power to its customers; therefore, it seemed only natural to have this year’s theme be “Public Power Rocks!” Given the theme, you can expect speakers, events, and a trade show that will inspire, inform, and celebrate the dedication and commitment we all share for our industry.
With more than four days of events scheduled, the NWPPA E&O Conference and Trade Show provides a mix of education, networking, and trade show experiences that can help with the opportunities and challenges that you face. The conference provides opportunities to learn about the latest practices, innovations, and technology in the electric utility industry. Prior to the opening general session there are roundtable events, an engineers roundtable and a lineman's roundtable (with no additional fee). During the conference, breakout sessions will focus on specific disciplines within a utility where you will learn about the latest methods and solutions being used around the industry. Additionally, the trade show exhibits will provide an opportunity to see the products that are available to help get the job done.
As you plan your 2013 work and training budget, set aside time and funds for an event that provides the best bang for your buck: the 2013 NWPPA Engineering and Operations (E&O) Conference and Trade Show. NWPPA’s E&O will be the Northwest’s largest electric utility conference and trade show of its kind in 2013.
Educational Hours - Up to 21 Completed Hours can be earned for sessions attended from Monday through Thursday
